SOK batteries in Home Assistant

Connect it

In MoniWatt for SOK settings, enter your MQTT broker (Mosquitto add-on works out of the box). Home Assistant discovers one device per battery plus a rack summary.

• sensor.sok_monitor_battery1_soc, …_battery1_temperature, …_battery1_cell_delta
• binary_sensor.sok_monitor_battery1_heater (on models that report it)
• binary_sensor.sok_monitor_battery1_alarm

Cabin and off-grid automations

• Start the generator through a relay when the rack falls under 25% at night.
• Run the dehumidifier or water pump only when the batteries are above 80%.
• Get a notification when the battery temperature drops near freezing and the heater is off.
• Daily message with the morning state of charge.
